THE PERSON BEHIND THE MESSAGE
Meet
Nicky Lim.
Speaker. Entrepreneur. Racing driver. Author.
Experience shapes the story.
What you do with it shapes what comes next.
Some lessons came
from growing a business.
Others came
from losing one.
I used to run a supercar rental business. Everything went well until one of my business partners got scammed. When that happened, I left the business feeling completely lost and uncertain in life. Instead of giving up, I chose to write a book and surrendered my future to God.
As one thing led to another, I found myself going back into full time employment and being posted to Johor Bharu, a city which I was completely unfamiliar to rebuild my life and my career, arriving with nothing but a suitcase.
Today, I’m still on that journey of rediscovering my passion and rebuilding my profession while living out my purpose, sharing my journey and testimony though the work that I do, be it as an employee or an entrepreneur. I believe life is a journey and while cannot change our past, we can always decide how we want to determine our future.
