Personal
Biography
Having taken the path less travelled in life, Nicky started working at the age of 18. What began as a necessity quickly became the foundation of his independence. From sales floors to Starbucks and FedEx, he learned customer service, crisis management, and resilience long before he ever stepped into a boardroom.
Facing hair loss at 18 with no money, no support, and no solutions, Nicky discovered a strength he didn’t know he had, the ability to endure, rebuild, and push forward no matter what life threw at him.
In 2017, after being retrenched, he asked himself a simple question: “What do I really want to be?” The answer led him to motorsports. He secured sponsorships, raced competitively, and proved that passion and grit can open doors even when circumstances don’t.
Today, Nicky isn’t chasing fame, hype, or validation. He’s focused on doing meaningful work, living quietly, and growing steadily with the same grit that carried him from 18 to now. His story isn’t about becoming a hero; it’s about choosing resilience, standing firm in who he is, and turning every setback into a step forward.
And for those who read his story, one thing becomes clear: If he can rise again, anyone can.

RACING
EXPERIENCES
Coming from humble beginnings, Nicky did not enter motorsports through the usual path of privilege or connections. He fought his way in as an underdog, navigating financial barriers, doubts from others, and the constant judgment that racing was “not for people like him.” Despite these challenges, he was determined. In 2018, he entered his first grassroots karting race and never looked back.
Since then, Nicky has competed in multiple major series, including:
Sepang 1000KM (S1K)
Asia Classic Car Challenge (ACCC)
Caterham Motorsports Championship
Project A Time Attack
E-Racing Endurance GP
His racing highlights include securing Pole Position and a Top 3 finish in the Caterham Motorsports Championship, achieving podium finishes at IKC Karting, and winning the E-Racing Endurance GP GT4 Class Championship.
Outside the cockpit, Nicky has built a strong motorsports portfolio. He has worked with notable teams and partners, including Axle Sports under Alex Yoong and sponsorship collaborations with Prince Lubricants. He also played key roles in the industry as a founder, content creator, and operator from starting The Motorsports People to managing and operating the Aylezo Go-Kart track.
What sets Nicky apart isn’t just his adaptability or racecraft, it’s his business-centric approach to motorsports. While many drivers pitch sponsorship as a branding pitch, Nicky approaches it with ROI, strategy, and long term growth in mind. His ability to secure and activate partnerships makes him a rare hybrid: a driver who understands racing and business.
Today, Nicky races with a purpose: to inspire others, especially underdogs, to believe that their dreams are possible regardless of where they start. His mission is to show that racing isn’t reserved for the privileged, it’s for the fighters, the builders, the ones who refuse to give up.
Looking ahead, Nicky’s goal is clear: to build his own racing team, create opportunities for the next generation of drivers, and continue proving that resilience, strategy, and heart can take you further than talent alone.
